Huh, this was a neat little piece to read. The emotions were clear and the story showed a great deal in a short time. However, I find the supposed “cycle” of life thing to be a bit… dissatisfying? The thought that the end comes for all is a common motif and a powerful one at that, but the resurrection just kinda undercuts that theme.

I enjoyed this, and hope that you write more like this.
